![]() ![]() Personally, I feel that FT Rogue, while not perfect, is FAR and above superior to MMC Azalea and that the majority of people commenting have not handled both at the same time side by side like I have. She looks FAR superior in both modes and believe it or not, is much more durable and only slightly less poseable. But, if you are going to primarily display with occasional handling and transformation, Rogue is the better choice. If you are going to handle the figure a lot and transform it a LOT, Azalea is probably the better choice. I am by no means a FT fan boy as they are NOT perfect and have made some real duds but as far as "looks" go, they knocked it out of the park with Rogue. Omni just strait out broke right out of the box. I have had a LOT of MMC figures and Sphinx is the only one I have kept and he is pretty mediocre. They are both pretty representative of their respective companies but MMC's MP OX line has always lacked the "fit and finisht" to compete with FT. One was a bit loose when I got her but a little floor polish and they are both tight now and hold in place even if I shake the figure. Rogue is SOLID except the two armatures that hold the shoulder pylons. But Azalea is no treat to stand stable either. ![]() Rogue maybe slightly more so because of the diecast chest raising the center of balance. More so with Azalea because there are more panels and hinges to deal with that come loose while posing in bot mode. Azalea's transformation is a bit easier but I still find them to both be a bit fiddely. FT did a much better job of hiding transformation joints. I just can't over look it and that along with all the other exposed hinges and flaps is probably why I got rid of her. Not to mention the discussing part break right in the center of her chest. Her very waspy, segmented waist, and wide hips that don't quite fit into the pelvis give her an over all "swimmers" build and as a result makes her look somewhat masculine. However, the bot mode proportions are not fantastic. Azalea has waist articulation, swappable posed hands, smaller shoulder pylons and a decent alt mode. Rogue also has a FAR better looking alt mode. However, she lacks any sort of waist articulation, the shoulder pylons are larger and do not tab in anywhere and the transformation is difficult (but not horrible if done in the correct order. Rogue has the FAR better silhouette and proportions, looks MUCH more like character and feels much more robust and solid. Their IDW characters are great but the MP OX line is peaked with their first figure, Sphinx. ![]() I sold Azalea after only a few days and I think she sealed the deal that I will not buy MMC anymore for MP. If I still had Azalea, I would post photos of her side by side with Rogue in the same pose from multiple angles so you could see the ACTUAL differences.
